  • Ronnie says:

Agreed! This course beat all of the other so called experts out there combined. Mike knows how to put a lot into a little space and still make it make sense. If you want to know about SAR K9, this is the course to take. Liked being able to take the cert to my sar team and get credit too.

  • Jen says:

Took this course after taking the SAR course and this was ideal for those of us trying to learn if our dog is right for SAR and what to do next. Wish I had this years ago. Keep up the good work guys.

  • Wudson says:

I found this training course to be very, very informative and would recommend it to anyone who had an interest in SAR. I loved the videos, definitely help. I am looking forward to taking more courses from this site.

  • Clem says:

Very good training, lots more to training a dog for SAR than I thought. Quick course with lots of stuff I hadn’t thought about. Look forward to more training from these guys. If you have a dog and want to learn if it is (and you are) right for search and rescue, this is a great use of about an hour.

  • Zachary says:

“This course represents an excellent introduction to the techniques and terms used by SAR K9 teams throughout the country. SAR K9 training can be a very intimidating world to enter – so much strange and confusing terminology as well as difficult techniques and training to master. Because of these and other challenges, it is very difficult for a lay person to enter into this field without the help of an outstanding introductory course and a good mentor. Mike McKenna provides both the information need in this course and the expert mentorship required for anyone who is serious in investing the vast amount of time and energy necessary to train SAR K9s or understand their operations better. This course was likely the best investment I made in establishing a firm foundation upon which I could build up my SAR K9 knowledge and experience. All in all a great course well worth investing in to introduce anyone to the world SAR K9 operations and training.” – Zac Friske, MBA, EMT
