This book saved me a ton of time and money. We started to plan our event the old fashioned way … committees, meetings, hurt feelings and blaming. 🙂 A fire fighter buddy suggested I plan my event using ICS. I looked it up and got dizzy with the acronyms, etc. I did some more digging and found this awesome workbook. The author is excellent at simplifying the complex and putting it in simple terms that actually are easy to implement. We very quickly were able to use about 75% of the stuff in this book to plan our event and besides a few naysayers, everybody is all on board with the new and improved way to run events. We now have the framework to deal with emergencies too, like when we lost power during a busy work week (wish we had this then!). My daughter’s softball coach works at a lot of tournaments (that are poorly run) so I think he is going to buy this book too. Don’t be fooled, this work book is worth 10x the price in what you will save in aggravation alone. Also, I had some pre-sale questions and the owner Mike got back to me ASAP with some helpful answers that helped me instead of just driving me to buy. Great business model. Highly recommend.
